My First NHL Jersey

This is the year that I get my first NHL Jersey.  I have been a fan of the NHL since I was a kid in the late 70’s, early 80’s.  I tried to watch games as often as I could.  Now later in life I am in my 30’s and my son has been playing youth ice hockey for about 5 years.  We go to all of the local ECHL Florida Everblades games that we can.  We also try to get to the NHL Florida Panthers and Tampa bay Lightning games that we can.

My son has had his share of Hockey Jerseys.  Some have been his own becouse of playing on different travling teams.  This year its my turn.  I am looking to get a Alexander Ovechkin #8 red jersey.  Yeah he is the man.  I’m not just jumping on the band wagon.  I did not have a favorite NHL team until the 07/08 season.  I started following the Capitals at the beging of the year and I too threw a fit when they could not get it done in the play-offs but what can you do right.

Let me kow what Hockey Jerseys you plan on getting this year.  Love to hear about it.

So your shopping for ice hockey equipment

I just found a great place to shop for ice hockey equipment online.  http://www.hockeyequipment.ezbidshop.com

So I was searching around online and needed to find a few things for my son.  He play’s Ice Hockey and the new season starts soon.  My son is 12 and will be playing in the PeeWee division with the Florida Eels this year.  Being that he is 12 that means that he is growing like a weed.  Size 4 Hockey Skates become size 6 Hockey Skates just in about 4 months.  He is using the CCM Vector 6.0 skates right now and he would like to move up to the CCM Vector 10.  We all know what that means, more money.

The next thing is when you get taller your Hockey Stick gets shoter. (yea right)  If he is not breaking them with he outstanding slap shot, he just out grows it.  His Hockey Stick of choice right now is the Bauer Vapor XXV (the blue one).  He uses the PM9 blade patern an most of the stick that he has had in the past.  He is looking foward to getting a new stick seeing as the back-up that he has right now is the Vapor XV and older version.  “It’s too heavy” he say’s “I need to get a new Hockey Stick”.  So here I am looking online for a great deal.

The other gear that he needs, I am more worried about.  The pads and the helmet.  I try to get him into something that is just a little bit big.  It helps soften the checks placed upon him in the games.  Can’t do too much about that but I have thought about adding padding to the inside of some of his hockey pads.  He say’s that everyong in the locker room will laugh at him so that is out of the quesiton.  Just stick with the best quality as you can afford.  I can’t do more then that right?  And top the whole thing off with a mouth piece.  Cut it just right and then give your child the old, “Keep the dame thing in your mouth!!!”

Talk about what you hockey kids wear and what hockey sticks and hockey skates they like.  Send this message to another hockey parent and share it with the world.

Thanks

Hockey Equipment Sites

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , on August 3, 2008 by postafterpost

So a lot has been done since the last post I made.

Hockey Equipment - Hockey SticksHockey Jerseys

These sites have all had a lot of work done to them.  Their has been large amounts of reading and large amounts of posting to forum, blogs, you name it I have been there.  All is good tho, I have learned a lot and I am trying to apply everything to these sites.

The one big thing that I have learned it that CONTANT is KING.  Find out as much as you can about your niche and start writing articles on different products in your niche.  Apply these articles to your blog, your bans site itself, or post them to other article submitting sites.  Be sure to have your anchor tags embedded into your keywords for that site.  That is the next big things.

I will talking some more about these sites as I am still learning and will try to share as much as I can to help others with their SEO.
